DOUBLE TREE HOTEL - This is Phase One of an upgrade agreement dated Nov. 9, 2001 and approved by the Fire Department 11/21/0. This phase will include replacing the existing fire alarm panel with a new FAC panel and one separate transponder control unit, providing a new remote annunciator at the front entry of the building and in Office 120, reconnecting all existing initiating and annunciation devices to the new panel (compatibility has been verified by Simplex), connecting the new preaction system in the Nextel penthouse cellular phone transmission building, adding smoke detectors over the new control panels and in the cellular phone building, and adding two additional pull stations. Per the signed agreement, upgrading of existing zones, controls and notification circuits, (which includes initiating devices, elevator recall functions, monitoring of air handler smoke detection, and a/v annunciation), will not be required as part of Phase One.The associated building permit (BLD 01-01681) is for the NEXTEL CELLULAR, State- approved, 10'x20', noncombustible modular penthouse building on roof and antenna installation on roof of existing DOUBLE TREE hotel building.
