HASTINGS (TENANT EXPANSION) - To install a new fire alarm system in an existing building. The system will include monitoring of the automatic sprinkler system, monitoring of HVAC duct smoke detectors, and offsite alarm supervision. The associated building permit (BLD 01-02863) is to expand an existing 16,000 square foot retail sales tenant space into an adjacent 9,900 square foot area. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a total floor area of 25,900 square feet. The demolition of an existing nonbearing wall is covered under this permit. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, suspended ceilings, and closing openings in a 2-hr area separation wall all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file.
