ISU - BOISE CENTER - To modify an existing fire alarm system. Work will involve replacing an existing FAC panel, removing existing manual pull stations from all exits, removing all a/v notification devices except 1 in each tenant space, adding smoke detectors for release of fire/smoke door hold opens, adding duct detectors for HVAC AHU shutdown, and adding a remote annunciator panel. The associated building permit (BLD 01-03001) is to remodel a 14,000 square foot area within an existing 49,624 square foot building. This tenant space will be used for adult education. Classrooms and offices are being constructed. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceilings, guardrails, and finishes.
An associated building permit (BLD 02-00296) is to remodel a 3907 sq ft portion of a building for an office expansion to the original area of 14000 sq ft that was constructed under (BLD01-03001). This expansion is for office use and increases tenant space to 17,907 sq.ft. Work to include construction of interior partitions, installation of suspended ceiling system, installation of 20 minute rated door assembly to access the existing corridor area, miscellaneous related interior finishes.
