Description	(Best Buy) To modify the existing fire sprinkler system for the remodel 52,830 ft/2 of the former "Home Base" retail sales store. Work is related to construction of a new one-hour tenant demising wall, one-hour occupancy separation walls around loading dock, and compressor room, construction of restrooms, remove portions of CMU to construct new loading dock area, and new vestibule. Modifying the existing riser for the installation of a (listed vertically approved) backflow preventer. To separate the overhead grid and add a new extended dry system riser to protect the loading dock and compactor area. This building is fully fire sprinklered for unlimited area. 60'-0" unobstructed yards shall be maintained around entire structure. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, the (red-lined) plans, attached review comment and conditions list; as regulated by the Fire Chief. A fire "Inspection Card" is required as a condition of this permit, to provide witness of compliance with the same. A demolition permit was issued under BLD01-02861. This permit is attached to BLD02-02802.
