Description	(SCP GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES/ RACKING) To install upgrade fire protection for miscellaneous single & double row pallet racks (no solid shelves), incorporating the storage of Class IV, non-encapsulated commodities with 6'-0"+ aisles widths, to a maximum 22'-0" elevation, per approved plans and attached engineering within two separate storage areas. One area is 11,968 ft/2 and the other area is 4,407 ft/2. Work to include, the modification of existing wet system riser for the installation of a 1500gpm/100 psi 125 horsepower Fire Booster Pump with Controller, 2 horsepower Jockey Pump with Controller, removing 169 existing heads and replacing with, Central Model K17-231 Standard Response/Standard Coverage sprinklers, installing approximately 235 feet of 4" bulk main and 126 feet of cross main, connected to the existing south side gridded lines. The fire sprinkler system and related work shall comply with the 1997 UFC, NFPA 13-1999, NFPA 20-1999, NFPA 72-1999 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Boise City Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building racking permit: BLD02-00752.
