To replace the existing Simplex 2100 fire alarm control panel with a new EST fire alarm panel. Expand upon the existing zones to provide better zone definition for the owner and fire personnel. Separate 1st, 2nd & 3rd floor elevator lobby smoke detectors from the existing general floor zones and provide separate elevator lobby zones with primary and alternate floor recall smoke detection only. Remove existing sprinkling system PIV & water valve from the sprinkler flow zone. Provide separate sprinkler flow alarm zone, PIV and water valve supervisory zones. Remove existing rooftop unit duct detectors and exhaust fan detector from the 3rd floor zone. Provide separate zone for rooftop unit duct detectors and exhaust fan smoke detector. Replace the existing smoke detectors with EST compatible smoke detectors. Replace the existing corridor 16 GA wire and audible/visual devices with 14 GA wire and synchronized audible/visual devices using temporal evacuation patern. Provide 60 hours battery backup and 5 min. alarm notification at the new FACP. There is no associated building permit.
