Description	Bon Aire Industries * To install fire sprinkler protection in a new 26,050 ft/2, one story with mezzanine, warehouse and accessory office building, constructed of concrete tilt-up exterior walls and steel structural frame and roof joists. The mezzanine is 2800 ft/2. This permit also includes the underground fire service supply. The fire sprinklers are required for area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. 1. Where branch lines are larger than 2", the fire sprinkler shall be supplied by a riser nipple to elevate the sprinkler 13" for 2½" pipe. These dimensions shall be measured from the centerline of the pipe to the sprinkler deflector. NFPA 13:5-10.5.2.3)
2. Provide revised area "A" calculations incorporating the tee, riser nipple and elevation differences.
3. Provide forward flow test piping and appurtenance to meet the requirements for 10-2.6 with provision addressed in 5-15.4.6.1*
4. Sprinkler data for Model G XLO is "Bulletin 129E". This is not a current data submittal for this manufacturers sprinkler head. Package must include the current data submittals of sprinkler heads installing.
5. Provide location of required flexible couplings for mains addressed NFPA 13:6-4.2. (NFPA 13:8-1.1.1 (39).
6. Copy/File Room #104 would appear to be classified as OH-1 and spacing of sprinkler shall reflect minimum spacing of the same requirement.
7. Provide and identify an approved relief valve, set to operate at a maximum 175 psi on the riser. (NFPA 13:4-1.2)
8. Provide and identify an inspectors test in this facility.
