ST LUKES-OUTPATIENT RADIOLOGY - To install within the TI area, manual pull stations at each exit, supplementary (non-required) smoke detection coverage in selected areas, and full a/v annunciation, all connected to the existing building fire alarm panel, which also provides offsite monitoring of the fire sprinkler system. This tenant area is separated from the remainder of the building with a blank wall and shares no common or public spaces with the remainder of the building; therefore installing a/v annunciation within only this portion of the building is acceptable. The existing fire alarm system was installed at the building shell stage under FIR01-00425.
The associated building permit (BLD02-00449) is to construct a 7,973 sq.ft. radiology office in the south end of the existing 34,000 sq. ft. shell & core building per approved plans on file. Work to include selective demolition of concrete slab; installation of new equipment pads, underground plumbing, exterior exit door and roof structure upgrade for new equipment support; interior non-bearing walls, finishes, suspended grid system and lead shielding at MRI room; installation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire suppression and alarm systems to meet tenant needs and comply with adopted codes; all per red-line notes on plans and attached plan review comments by all reviewing agencies, all part of the approved plans and specs. NOTE: This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase.
