HP Bldg. 2 Chiller Upgrade - To provide two additional A/V devices, three manual pull stations, three smoke detectors and one relay for the shutdown of existing duct smoke detectors. The initiating devices as well as the horns are to be connected to the existing Simplex 4120 FACP network. The strobes are to be connected to an existing Simplex 4009 NAC panel. This work is to be performed in the new chiller addition.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-02884) is to add a 20'x30' (600 Sq. ft.), one story masonry addition to the north end of the existing pump room. To dismantle the concrete aggregate panel walls and metal screen walls surrounding the existing chiller enclosure and reinstall those wall panels to create a larger chiller enclosure. The original enclosure will be enlarged from 29'x70' (2030 sq. ft.) to 59'x81' (4460 sq. ft.). This work also includes installing new concrete slab floors in these areas, chiller and pump structural supports and access stairways, as well as, related site improvements. This permit also includes the door change at the wall along grid line L at building 8 pump room. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
