Description	(ADA COUNTY SERVICES BUILDING) To modify and existing fire sprinkler system in an 8,725-ft/2 area located on the east side of the existing 26,000-ft/2 court room building, to create a new administrative office tenant space. Work is related to selective demolition, the construction of a 1-hour tenant separation wall, new interior non-bearing walls to create an exit access hall, lobby, private offices and support areas. Also to add a new accessible restroom and upgrade two existing restrooms, and the installation of new suspended grid ceiling system. This building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with NFPA 13-1999, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD02-02661.

I could not final project due to outstanding fire alarm plan issues. As for life safety the exit sign at the main exit needs repaired and door hardware for two group/offices near the main exit need approved hardware installed. They consist of double doors with manual flush bolts. Two existing fire extinguisher cabinets are mounted too high but contractor has letter from city giving approval to leave them at current hight. 4/9/2003 11:03:35 AM

The city approved sprinkler plans show a maximum spacing of 148 square feet in the conference room 009 and the lobby 002. The sprinkler pendants as installed exceed this. One sprinkler upright has a bent deflector and needs replacing 2/28/2003 3:02:02 PM
