Fire Final Inspection called by General/Owner for 02/06/03-AM.
Troy (Field Fire Life Safety Inspector called and questioned me on a 12'-0" X 12'-0" obstruction. Warnick from Commercial Fire Protection called previously (12/27/03) on this same type of question. After questioning Troy on the obstruction, I told him it would have to be protected underneath.
Troy also found other fire sprinkler work completed and asked the Owner/G.C. when and who did the work. It was stated that the work was done Monday (02/03/03), by Bruce West from Commercial Fire Protection. This office received permit application and (partial, lacking the display cover information) plan, yesterday (02/05/03) afternoon, and it went out this morning (02/05/03) approved as shown, (lacking the display cover). The timing would indicate that fire sprinkler work was performed prior to permitting.
Instructed Troy that work on display cover/canopy/cloud or whatever obstructing floor shall require resubmittals.
Requires double fee penalties!
