IDAHO WATER CENTER BASEMENT (GARAGE) WEST SECTION PA2 * To install complete fire sprinkler protection in a new 127,500 ft/2, reinforced concrete underground parking garage, (with 332 parking stalls) with a concrete structural support deck for future multi-story office, retail and residential buildings above. This permit is for the construction of the concrete structural shell only, no finishes including shafts, interior partitions, stairways, etc., are approved under this permit. This garage is fully fire sprinkled. The fire sprinkler system work shall be installed in accordance to NFPA 13-1999, complying with the UFC-1997 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to garage shell permit: BLD02-00199.

11/4/03 - Plan correction/changes, connection of basement standpipe piping from PA-2 and PA-1, addition of PRV for fire pump.
Problem with resubmittals. Called Don Weland and asked for more information, i.e., data submittals on PRV, verification of hydraulics that 175 psi maximum pump pressure will be sufficiant for most remote/demanding area calculations.
02/20/04 - PRV's not required due to system testing. Standpipe connection piping provided to column line #13.

NOTE: Other changes submitted under FIR03-00088, then to this permit and now forwarded onto FIR03-00136 relating to the 6th floor concealed space under the elevator mechanical room #2.
