No Review. Wrong permit submitted under.

11/04/2003 Plan correction/changes, connection of basement standpipe piping from PA-2 and PA-1, addition of PRV for fire pump.
Problem with resubmittals. Called Don Weland and asked for more information, i.e., data submittals on PRV, verification of hydraulics that 175 psi maximum pump pressure will be sufficiant for most remote/demanding area calculations.
02/20/2004 - No PRV required for this building. Ok'd the interconection to grid line 13 in Basement Parking Garage BLD03-00067.

Emailed copy to Randy Knudsen (Shilo-PA2) and Randy Bowron (De Best-Idaho Water Project).
Since the parking garage is connected to the Idaho Water Center Project the following will apply:

1. The basement garage standpipe system/s are dry. Each shall be interconnected between the 2 buildings at the basement level. With this requirement, the garage standpipe piping shall be separated from the above parking garage grade standpipes with separate identified standpipe FDC's located at approved locations on each structure.

2. The stairwell standpipes may be dry in both buildings, which means they do not require connection to the building fire pump/s. This means, the pump/s do not require sizing for standpipe fire flows and pressures. (Piping will still require sizing and design per NFPA 14). The stairwells shall be separated from the parking garage standpipes in each building and each building shall have its own a separate identified standpipe FDC.

3. In addition to the above identified FDC's, signage shall be attached to the stairwell standpipes FDC's that identify the standpipes and gives the minimum required pressures at the supply (connection), to provide the minimum pressure and required flows per NFPA 14:5-7, 5-9, (500 gpm @ 100 psi on the most remote standpipe (on the stairwells)! Note: Each standpipe hose connection (in the basement and the stairwells) shall require an approved water pressure gauge with control connection appurtenance.
Meeting  5/5/2003 DONE
Met with Dave Miller concerning this project and the Idaho Water Project. Went into details on connecting standpipes in the basement and allowance for dry standpipes in the stairwells. Basement and stairwell standpipes to be separated. from the basement parking garage. Basement dry standpipes to be interconnected between the two buildings, since they are both open (connected).
