Location of Class 1 standpipe system in Stairs #1 does not meet the UFC and NFPA 14 requirements with 2½" hose connection at each intermediate landing between floor levels in every required exit stairway. Provide revised plans for Stairs #1. (NFPA 14:5-3.2)
This facility is being designed with a Fire Booster Pump. Provide approval from the Fire Chief that a Class I-Dry-Manual Standpipe is acceptable in the structure above the basement-parking garage. Contact Dave Miller at ###-#### and obtain approval in writing of which shall be made a permanent part of this permit. (NFPA 14:3-1.1)
