To replace an existing fire sprinkler monitoring panel with a new fire alarm panel. The new fire alarm panel is to monitor a single dry pipe sprinkler riser which includes the hi/low air, water flow, tamper switches on the backflow prevention device as well as an out side post indicating valve. The system will include a smoke detector over the panel with a manual pull station installed in the mechanical room and a horn placed in an existing tenant.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-02218) is a remodel to an existing retail/office/warehouse tenant space in existing building. Remodel will expand the retail showroom by 287 sq. ft. (reducing warehouse area) and a new 343 sq. ft. storage mezzanine will be constructed in the warehouse. New tenant space total will be 4,374 sq. ft. A new Certificate of Occupancy with the new occupant load total is to be issued when completed and approved. This building was originally constructed in Ada County and later annexed into Boise City. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase.
