Riverwalk Center -To install a fire alarm system in this new shell building. The system will provide required offsite fire sprinkler monitoring, elevator recall functions, and smoke detection for release of smoke dampers and HVAC air handlers.
The associated building permit (BLD 02-02687) is to construct a new 20,570 square foot, two story shell and core building and related site improvements. This building is constructed of steel structural frame, some precast concrete and concrete masonry walls, steel joists. The core work includes restrooms, corridors, stairways, elevator and mechanical rooms. This is a shell permit only and no occupancy is approved under this permit. Separate tenant improvement permits are required to finish this building for occupancy. This building is fully fire sprinklered.
