Steve Larsen called and stated that the design was correct and to have it reviewed. He faxed over a letter from Roger W. Gehrke at Idaho Department of Health & Welfare that basically states that smoke detectors in the residents rooms shall be "system" detectors.

Steve Larsen designed to IFC, the building permit was issued under UBC. The building permit is for R-3, Steve states that is should be R-4, S-2 with controlled egress. At this time his first submittal is on "hold" in Sam's cubicle. He will either call to have it reviewed, or resubmit.
