(COMMERCIAL HOME FURNISHINGS) To modify and add fire sprinklers for the interior remodel on the east side of the first floor of an existing retail home furnishing store. Fire sprinkler work is related to new interior partitions near and at the kitchen display area and raising the ceiling in one display area. Interior walls will be 2'-0" short of ceiling and have steel posts in walls for bracing per detail on plans. This building is fully fire sprinklered for one-hour substitution. All fire sprinklers and related appurtenance within this permit work scope shall meet current NFPA 13-1999 standards, comply with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, in order to provide witness verification of compliance in meeting minimum code standards.
