Dennis Schrecongost and I discussed the existing duct smoke detectors. The mechanical drawings are deleting them. I explained to him that he should resubmit under the same permit number (electrical and the FA plans) as a plan modification to show the changes.

Called Dennis to let him know that the intent of the code is for the visual to be seen from the end of the corridor. (CA states 130 feet) Dennis claims that this would be a hardship as the rest of the hospital is based on the use of system smoke detectors and the LEDs for the remote indication. I asked that he place his request in writing via e-mail and we would review it again.
