* Radiation Oncology Expansion and Renovation * Phase 1 - To remove and cap 3, existing 1¼" fire sprinklers lines on the 1st floor for the demolishing of approximate 3,700-ft/2 area of the first floor. The opening from the 1st to the 2nd floor will be temporarily protected by the 2nd floor existing fire sprinkler system. Upon completion fire protection will be reinstalled. Phase II - The other related fire sprinkler work is for the 800-ft/2, one story, reinforced concrete Radiation Oncology addition at the north end of the north tower for new equipment and the remodel of the 3,700-ft/2 of the first floor and approximately 500 square feet on the second floor. This remodel is for office area surrounding the new addition at the first floor and for office area directly above on the second floor. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD03-01197.
