Work is to include new beams, columns, and concrete footings at new exterior openings; new store front glazing systems at new exterior openings; new Exterior Insulation and Finish System; new interior beam and columns to replace a bearing wall; 6 (or perhaps 5) restrooms accessible to the disabled; interior nonbearing walls; and suspended ceilings all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. A demolition permit (BLD03-01079) was issued earlier. The location of fire sprinkler heads shall comply with NFPA 13-1999 as regulated by the Fire Department. Started dtest but found multiple problems such as horn not working, smoke detector too far from deck, no breaker lock, no zone descriptions and per the general contractor the electrician still needed to program some items into the panel. The test needs to be started over 4/2/2004 3:07:09 PM

Spoke with Rob Ahten, requested a cut sheet for the smoke detector above the panel and stated that the plans showed a horn, the riser and cutsheets imply a horn/strobe. The preferred appliance is a horn, he will need to provide cut sheets to the PDS Fire Inspector for field verification. Calcs will be acceptable as the horn takes less current than a horn/strobe.
