To relocate two smoke detectors, add a new smoke detector in the control room and add a strobe appliance in the control room. The existing system is a required manual with sprinkler monitoring, partial area automatic detection HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control and special extinguishing system releasing panels.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02299) is for a minor remodel to enclose the control room, provide security card readers at some doors, and to construct a 6 ft. high perimeter security fence with gate to an existing 5,319 sq. ft. tenant/building per approved plans and CZC03-00082. Work to include new interior modular wall system installation at control room, a new interior door, new steel subframe for interior door, new wall infill in a former interior window opening, some fire sprinkler/alarm work, minor plumbing, mechanical work, and electrical work. Special Inspection required for Hilti Hit RE 500 Adhesive Anchor installations per the Evaluation Report. This is a Scope of Work Permit. Letter of Completion to be issued when done.
