To add a duct detector for HVAC shutdown to an existing required fire alarm system that includes partial area detection, sprinkler monitoring, fire/smoke damper control, elevator recall/shutdown, high rise building requirements, manual pull stations and notification throughout.

There associated building permit (BLD03-02029) is to relocate an existing wall within the existing basement UPS room to add approximately 68 sq. ft. to allow installation of new UPS unit & support equipment within the room; lower a suspended ceiling grid system & fixtures sufficient to provide a minimum of 6" clear area above to allow installation of new electrical conduits but maintaining minimum 7' ceiling height; modify light fixtures & sprinkler heads for code compliance; remove existing generator to other IPCo site and install 2 new generators in the generator room in the northeast corner of the 1st floor, and perform related work per approved plans.
