To add A/V appliances and two duct smoke detectors for HVAC shutdown to a required manual fire alarm system that includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout.

The associated building permit (BLD 03-02409) is to construct 2 infill exam office spaces for a total of 1,761 sq.ft. in the basement of the building per approved plans on file. Work includes construction of interior non-bearing, non-combustible, fire-resistive walls to create exam, testing, office & waiting /reception areas for use by SARMC medical teams; install suspended ceiling grid system; upgrade electrical , mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression & alarm systems to meet current codes and new tenant needs.
