End of line voltage on the notification circuits exceeds 21.6 volts(nfpa 72, 7.3.2.3). Provide verification/explanation on resubmittals on why remaining hvac units do not have automatic shutdown per IMC. Office and corridor areas that open into the new addition must be brought up to code compliance. Only the items listed above have been inspected and addressed. Talked to Rob at Protex, inquired why the FA system had not been expanded into the new addition. He stated that the designer was CSHQA. I said I would call them.
Telephone call  1/26/2004 DONE
Called Stephanie Cribbs at CSHQA. She stated that they wrote the specifications, but the electrical contractor was responsible for the design. The FA submittals were to be submitted to them for review prior to a city submittal. I told her that I would write a quick comment (denial) regarding the condition of the submittal and fax to ROb at Protex and a copy to her at CSHQA.
Alarm Plan Check  1/26/2004 FAIL
Resubmittal required. Faxed comments to Rob at Protex and Stephanie at CSHQA.
