Spoke with Chris Willis. The additional devices were addressable devices and were simply wired into the FACP when the panel was upgraded in 2000. I stated that for this permit, I would request Rick Jackson verify the locations of the duct detectors, etc. by using the copy of the "upgrade" drawings we have on file.

Building maps will be updated after the Ti and the 1-4 floor upgrade.

Any TI or upgrade from here on will show all existing devices.

Some existing smoke detectors are mounted below 12" from the ceiling on the wall in a few of the mechanical and electrical rooms. I told Chris that I would leave that to an inspector and he could call for a conference prior to inspection.

Spoke with Chris Willis, Simplex-Grinnell. I reviewed the submittal to the IFC 2000. The upgrade agreement included drawings that I should of reviewed the submittal to. Upon further review, I called Chris and stated that because there are items such as HVAC duct smoke detectors that are not showing on the TI (FIR04-00419) as existing, I don't think they are there, or connected to the FA system. Chris agreed, therefore, I am requesting a resubmittal for the upgrade of floors 1-4. Chris WIllis requested a copy of the 2000 drawings, I took them to Capitol for copies.
