ST. LUKES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER - MSTI * To change out some existing 4" supply main piped which was connected improperly (should have been 6"), off the existing wet system, located on a pump system located in Pump Room B-76 located in the basement, near the elevators. To modify and existing 6" FDC/Standpipe supply main to create a combination FDC/Standpipe supply and Fire Pump Test piping. This includes adding a supervised (normally open) 6" control valve in the existing 6" Fire Department Connection (at the basement mechanical room I-276), and another 4" supervised (normally closed) valve in the new 4" tap test line to be piped out into a new 2.5 x 2.4 pump test header, located through the outside next to existing North side of the facility. This work is required per NFPA 20:5.19.1.1 and FM (underwriter) request. All fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2000, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is not attached to a building permit.
