Description	(THE REEF RESTAURANT - OLD STATESMAN BLDG - 2ND FLR) To modify and existing fire sprinkler system for remodel an existing 6,416-ft/2, 2nd floor space for a new restaurant tenant and add a new "antifreeze" looped addition to expand the floor area by constructing a 1,704-ft/2, 2nd floor outdoor terrace over an existing roof. The fire sprinkler work in the existing tenant is related to interior nonbearing walls, interior stairways and new roof beams. A demolition permit (BLD04-00048) was issued. This building is fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2000, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, providing witness of compliance verification meeting minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-00038.
