This structure shall be fitted with a 13D modified sprinkler system, which includes all closets, bathrooms and attached garage per Plat Notes. The sprinkler flow alarm shall be connected to the residence smoke detection system. Separate permitting will be required to finish the basement. All fire sprinkler work and related, which includes the dual use, single service water supply, the system backflow prevention device (provided by others), shall be per NFPA 13D, approved plans, engineering/red-lining and attached review comments/conditions, under direction of the Fire Chief. Dave Miller called and indicated that we shall allow this residence to incorporate the new IFC Boise City Ordinance, Title 7 Adopted Amendment 903.3.1.3.1 NFPA 13D Alarms. "Any and all NFPA 13D systems shall be equipped with an alarm initiating device, commonly referred to as a flow switch, and an outside alarm indicating device," as an alternate.
