(BROOKSTONE)(BOISE TOWNE SQUARE-SPACE 1159) To modify and add fire sprinkler is the remodel of a 2,773-ft/2 retail space on the lower level for new mercantile tenant, and a 500-ft/2 portion of tenant space #1155 for a remote storage area. The work includes changing and relocating out 36 existing dropped head with installing new standard concealed Q.R. sprinklers, 2 standard coverage, Q.R., semi-recessed head added in the restroom and the (separated) corridor entry, 3 standard coverage Q.R. uprights added in the New Sales area, and 6 standard coverage and Q.R. uprights added to the new remote storage room. All work is related to the construction of partitions, installation of new suspended ceiling, lighting, a new tenant restroom. This building is fully fire sprinklered and contains a smoke evacuation system. The smoke evacuation system shall remain operational as originally installed under the 1985 UBC. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2000 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
