Description	MICRON BUILDING #2 - REMODEL THE "OLD" SMOCK AND BOOTIE FOR CVD, PHOTO - (#02-20036191) - Phase 1 Demolition. Phase 2 Installation. To remove, modify and add fire sprinkler protection for the demolition, removal of some interior partitions and ceilings and the installation of underfloor concrete recessed access protection and overhead adjustment for cleanroom HEPA ceilings systems and wall construction. Second floor removal of HVAC equipment and reinstall some of the existing mechanical equipment and new HVAC equipment floor trusses and the installation of new steel framing and floor system, level with adjacent floor level and a "Fit-up" area for future use on the 2nd floor requires a 4" main rerouting. This fire sprinkler work includes extending fire protection for the construction of a new 120-ft/2, addition at the west wall of Building #2 to house a new vertical recalculating air handling fan unit. This fire sprinkler work is being done in an approximate 2500-ft/2 area of the north end of the first floor of Building #2, between grid lines #A & #D and #6 & #7.6. And at the northeast end of the second floor of Building #2 between grid lines #B & #D and #6 & #7.6. The sprinklers are used for area and story increases. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2000 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code.
