Description	(CYRUS JACOBS / UBERUAGA BOARDINGHOUSE) To install complete fire sprinkler protection overhead and underground water supply service for the restoration work of existing historic building. Fire sprinkler protection will be for the protection of property and life which will be used for public tour museum with office usage. This fire sprinkler installation is being used to exterior opening protection, in lieu of a basement enclosure, in lieu of stair enclosures, in lieu of fire-resistance-rated corridors, in lieu of shafts, and for story increase. There is a dry and double interlocked preaction system protecting this facility. The underground includes connection to an existing main in Grove street running south to the pit with 37'-0" of 6" C-900 PVC, out of the pit south 85'-0" than 90º west to a 2 - 6X6X4 M.J. Tees with key gate controls. This facility will be feed off one of those tees running north with 4" C-900 PVC and stubbed into the basement with Ductile Iron. The outside valve is located out of the valve pit. This fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-2002 as regulated by the Fire Department. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2000, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-00896.
