Description	(DESERET INDUSTRIES) To install a (propylene glycol) anti-freeze loop system extension off the existing wet pipe fire sprinkler system, located in the "Customer Hold A117) with piping out to and under a new a 20" x 90" (obstructed construction) covered exterior storage area on the southwest corner of the building. This fire sprinkler work is related to the installation of columns, beams and metal roof deck. This building is fully fire sprinklered. This fire protection work shall comply with the IFC 2003 and the permit review comments; each regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD04-02934.

1. We are returning your plans until you can provide a valid and approved building review/permit meeting IBC and IFC requirements.
The following is required in order to meet BMC 7-01-09 Paragraph 105.1.1.1 and International Fire Code 105.4 submittal requirements.
2. When resubmitting, provide a copy of the companies contract relating to the final accepted bids/prices settlement (include all change-orders, extras, etc., cost for verification of BCO §4-02-28(2-B) which reads: "When the installation of sprinkler heads is not involved or insignificant due to the type of work being permitted, a plan review fee equivalent to 1.05% of the total bid price shall be assessed, up to a maximum of $3,150 (whichever is larger), and paid to the building official."
3. Include data submittals on the expansion chamber identifying the size incorporating, etc.
4. Address the backflow "burp cup" drain and where it will be exhausted.
5. Clarify the hanger detail addressing the "HangerMate ZE710" and its UL and/or FM listing limits.
6. Provide canopy roof construction which includes type of truss, joist, and related, etc.
