DEMO PERMIT ONLY * ST LUKES-S & CENTRAL WING-1ST FLR (MEDICAL IMAGING) For selective demolition in the remodel of a 26,150-ft/2 existing areas currently used as surgery support space for medical imaging. Fire sprinkler work is related to the removal of walls and equipment for the preparation of new interior walls for an exam room, treatment, recovery rooms and support areas, medical imaging suite, corridor walls, incidental storage rooms, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, medical gases. The fire sprinkler system work shall be maintained in accordance with minimum requirements of NFPA 13-1999, complying with the IFC-2000 and attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this permit, to provide witness of compliance verification of meeting minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-02203.

1. This facility requires full fire sprinkler protection and this permit is a demolition permit, Fire sprinkler modifications will be required to meeting minimum protection relating to the demolition work associated. The designer shall supply minimum information meeting minimum IFC review requirements.
a. Provide information that provides what type of system this company is working on, relating to wet, etc., light, ordinary hazard, obstructed, unobstructed, original design spacing limits, existing heads used, revised heads installing (maintaining protection), etc., etc.
b. If fire sprinklers will be removed and not replaced for certain areas or the entire area, then information relating to the localized area, time limit/s, fire watch/s, must be provided and approved by the Fire Marshal prior to release.
