7. This building was originally constructed in 1994/1995 and the applicable building code was the 1991 UBC. Building use has always been retail. The current building Type of Construction is V-B and it is fully fire sprinklered to allow a non-rated exit corridor. The exit corridor that serves the second exit from the retail sales floor will be downgraded to a non-rated corridor per the applicant under this permit. (Fully sprinklered M Occupancy) Provide quick response fire sprinklers in the exist corridor in meeting with the allowance and include it on the plan. (BMC 7-01-50-901.2, IFC 105.4.2)
