COLTRIN BUILDING (SHELL) -To install 227'-0" +- of 6" C-900 PVC underground fire service supply. The connection is in Fairview Ave running north to the property line (by others) and continues under this permit to a riser room identified as #103, then west approximately 5'-0" from the building. The piping changes to Ductile Iron Class 50 (min), under the footing and up through the floor, near the outside of the building, to approximately 6" above the finished floor with a "Uniflange" transition fitting. This work is for the fire protection of an 18,490-ft/2, two story, type V-B, fully fire sprinklered office/retail shell building. The fire sprinklers will be used for area and story increase. The fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2002, NFPA 24-2002 the IFC-2000, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD04-02020.
