Underground piping must meet min. depth of bury req. NFPA 10.4.1, backfill at rock per 10.9.4, support per 10.7.9, distance from embankment per 10.5.4, and meet deflection requirements. The pipe laid over the large section of embeded rock in the trench fails to meet code standards and requirements.

1. Provide information on building underground riser through the floor of the proposed building which includes:
a. Provide pipe type and size of the underground riser extending through the floor of this building.
b. Provide clarification of all fitting, including any installing on the top of the riser.
c. Provide required thrust blocking information (in detail) installing on the riser piping and fitting/s.
d. Include how the piping will pass through the buildings footing or the distance of the top of pipe to bottom of footing.
(BMC 7-01-53-901.2 and IFC 901.2)

2. Provide clarification on why this designer is not including an outside control valve as required in BMC 7-01-53-903.1.3 or addressing an allowed alternative since outside controls should be installed under this type of permit.
