To provide two duct smoke detectors and associated RTS in the remodeled area. The existing required sprinkler monitoring fire alarm system includes HVAC shutdown. No written comments. Duct detectors are powered by the units. The PDS Fire Inspector shall field verify functionality of the duct smoke detectors for HVAC shutdown and verify a revised building map has been provided.

The associated building permit (BLD05-01115) is to remodel an existing 2,952 square foot tenant space for a retail sales tenant. This space is located in a 5,882 square foot, 1 story building. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, exterior wall infills, exterior storefront glazing, suspended ceilings, shelving, millwork, exit signs, emergency lighting, and interior finishes. Shelving shall not exceed 8 feet in height. All new work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes.
