1. Previous pump test report indicates the shutoff is 191-psi. Maximum system operating pressure allowed for this pipe and fittings is: 175-psi. This facilities fire protection designs areas must fall within this limit or system modifications will be required and calculations reverified.
2. The kitchen and storage areas on the first floor and in the basement are considered Ordinary Hazard Group 1. The pipe sizing used for these areas does not match any previously hydraulically verified areas. The Hurtado TI was hydraulically calculated for OH-2 with the 1 ΒΌ" branch lines. The branch lines for the kitchen and storage reduce to 1". Provide pipe sizing to match the previously calculated OH-2 area or provide additional hydraulic calculations.
3. Dry pendants are shown in two rooms in the basement. It does not appear that the walls for these rooms extend to the ceiling. Provide information as to how high the walls are. Will these rooms be subject to temperatures lower than 40 degrees and this is the reason for the dry pendants?
4. On the floor plans there are two spaces with no fire sprinkler coverage between column lines H and G.9 and between 9 and 10 and just to the left of column line 8. Are these spaces non-combustible and non accessible?
5. Pendant heads in the Women's and Men's restrooms have two pendant heads piped from a single 1" outlet. See requirements of Note #18 below.
6. Are there two levels of pendant sprinkler heads in Dining II, Room 106? Provide section view/information for clarification.
