Description	The shell and core fire alarm permit (FIR05-00076) must be finaled prior to occupancy for this fire alarm permit. This permit is to provide HVAC shutdown, total notification (speaker/strobes) to an existing fire alarm system. The required manual fire alarm system includes HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release and notification throughout (voice/evac). 9/30/2005 - Plan Modification. The only tenant in the BODO #7 building required to have voice/evac is the Edwards Theater. There is a two-hour separation between the theater and all other tenants. A manual fire alarm system with total notification (horn/strobe) is still required in the remainder of the building based upon the expected occupancies. RESUBMITTAL required for incorrect module (expansion audio card) as shown on the battery calculation, BOM and with the cut sheets. Provide the appropriate information, update the battery calculation and BOM. 2/28/2006 - Plan Modification. Plans corrected to indicate the appropriate locations of the airhandlers. The associated building permit (BLD 05-00850) is to create a new 5,292 square foot retail sales tenant space within a new 135,950 square foot building. This space is located on the 1st story, on the West side of the building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, millwork, suspended ceilings, and finishes. All work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with 2002 NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW (ANN TAYLOR LOFT - BODO BLDG #7 - WEST SIDE) This building is required to be fully fire sprinklered.

Phoned Ralph Costelli (architect) to inform him that the FAS for Ann Taylor Loft was designed as a voice/evac system. It now appears that there were circumstances involved with the theatre that required a separation, which in turn created two separate fire areas. Hence only the theatre required voice/evac. The remainder of the first floor of the building is considered an M over 500 and a required manual FAS is required (horn/strobes only).
