Re-Submittals Of The Following Items Are Required:
1. Area #2 Hydraulic calculations (storage) design is flawed. Minimum sprinkler operating head pressure, for the Tyco Model "ELO-231" S.R., S.C., SSU, 11.2 K-factor TY5111 is 12.76 psi. All sprinklers are incorporating an 11.4 K-factor head which mean this design verification is flawed. Revise and resubmit a correct design for verification.

2. No provisions shown for forward flow testing of the backflow device. If none is provided, riser modifications will be required meeting annual requirements of NFPA 13-16.2.5.1. Address and resubmit clarification.

3. Design installation has problems. Fire sprinklers are cold soldering off the east wall of the new framing shop. The Tyco Model "ELO-231" S.R., S.C., SSU, 11.2 K-factor TY5111 pendants have a minimum fire sprinkler spacing for 9'-0". Sprinklers shall be permitted to be placed less than 8'-0" on center where the conditions of 8.8.3.4.2 are satisfied: Provide corrections and resubmit.

4. Plan FP2 of 2, seismic bracing was not provided for the new 6" main. Provide and resubmit.

Re-Submittals Of The Following Items Are Required:

1. The scope of work provided on the permit application does not match what is actually going on.

2. The use of the EC-11 pendant sprinkler heads for Quick Response in ordinary hazard occupancy is not UL listed. See the provided data sheet and call Tyco technical support which is listed on the front of the data sheet as well.

3. The ELO-231 heads are shown to have a SIN number of TY3131 and be Quick Response on the head legend. But per the provided cut sheet is no TY3131 and the heads are not quick response.

4. The hydraulic calculations for Remote Area #1 are not accurate.
No dimensions or node points are given on the site plan.
Pipe size and type is not given on the site plan.
Calcs. show 4" MJ 90 but pipe entering and leaving fitting is 6".
Length of underground on calcs does not match what is scaled.
Fitting counts and point to point lengths as shown on plans don't match calcs.
Node points 40 and 42 are not shown on the plans.
The elevation changes of piping does not match center to center lengths given.

No other items reviewed except as listed above. Review all items for accuracy and resubmit. Upon resubmittal, additional items may be found upon further review.
