Description	The fire alarm panel was replaced in 2001. The upgrade agreement began in 2002 and includes the addition of additional smoke detectors on each floor's common area corridor and installation of A/V fire strobes in each restroom and common area corridors. This permit includes floors 5-11. Floors 9 and 10 have had the enclosed corridors "removed" and an additional stairway between the floors has been installed. At this time, the fire alarm system (notification) shall be installed on these floors the same as the remainder of the floors, regardless of "open space" issues. Notification will not be required through the TI space. There is no associated building permit.

The WON door on the 10th floor failed to function properly, batteries for the transponder panel for the 8th floor failed, one a/v in the short hall on 6th floor failed to operate, a/v devices at the restroom vestibules and select elevator lobbies have been relocated from location shown on approved plans (shown on as builts), one a/v on the 8th floor has been deleted in a vestibule that does not exist. Floors 5-11 core and common areas tested at this time.
