Description	To extend the existing required manual fire alarm system into the area as specified by the building permit. HVAC ducting is being routed throughout the basement and the first floor, multiple fire/smoke dampers are indicated on the plans. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, fire pump monitoring, secondary water tank monitoring, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release and notification throughout. There are no elevators functional at this time. A new NAC extender panel is being added to the North Tower. Only the Central tower is a high rise which requires a Fire Command Center, voice/evac, fire department communication system which was initiated under FIR05-00801, which must be finaled prior to occupancy of the Pharmacy. The associated building permit (BLD 05-00635) is to finish approximately 14,260 sq. ft. of the first floor and the exit system that serves this area for use as a Pharmacy Unit with associated support services. Exits will be to the north into the existing north tower exit system and to the east to a set of double doors leading directly to the exterior. Work will include construction of interior non-bearing, non-combustible, fire-resistive walls to create the pharmacy and associated support areas; to install the electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression and alarm systems to meet tenant needs and comply with minimum adopted codes and ordinances; to install a suspended ceiling grid system and supported fixture's; interior millwork and finishes; all per the approved plans to include all red-lined notes and attached plan review comments / conditions of all reviewing agencies. Finished testing the fire alarm connections for this permit which included jockey pump tamper, tank supply tamper, tank fill tamper and the first floor tamper and flow switch. Inspection was stopped when the first duct smoke detector inspected had the sample tube pointing the wrong way.

See the city approved plans for the pharmacy for devices tested. All of the notification devices have been tested. See the approved plans for locateions where a 15 and a 75 need swapped. I stopped the inspection due to time constraints and upon finding a duct smoke detector missing the plug in the sample tube and it shut the smoke damper. Also multiple smoke detectors still had tape on them and a/v's still had tape and paper covering them or were missing covers. I found one junction box at the failed duct detector that was missing its cover and had wiring spilling from it. I found one manual pull station at the east exit that was not attached to the wall.
