Description	OVERLAND RETAIL PLAZA - (SHELL) - To install a complete overhead Ordinary Hazard Group 2 fire sprinkler protection system in a new 17,850-ft/2, one story retail shell building constructed on masonry exterior walls, wood roof trusses. This building will be fully fire sprinklered. The sprinklers are used for allowable area increase. This is a shell permit only, and this submittals will not allow occupancy for any tenant modifications. Separate tenant improvement permits will be required to finish this building for occupancy. The underground fire service supply was installed under FIR06-00043. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD05-02731.

Above ground hydro test passed. Sprinkler rough-in failed due to the upright sprinkler heads not meeting NFPA 13 8.6.5.2.1.6 and 8.6.5.2.1.7. Also the sprinkler heads are overspaced at the west end of the sprinkler system.

Re-Submittals Of The Following Items Are Required:
1. Fire department connections shall be on the street side of buildings, immediately discernible, fully visible and recognizable from the street or nearest point of fire department apparatus access. Relocate FDC to a location that faces either S. Milwaukee or Overland. Pipe sizing shall be equivalent to requirements of NFPA 13. (IFC 912.2.1, BMC 7-01-50-IFC 901.2)

2. Designer give construction information on the roof membrane yet does not address the fire sprinkler riser room meeting requirements specifically addressed in, Boise Municipal Code 7-01-53 CONTROL VALVE LOCATION - IFC Section 903.1.3? Provide required riser room construction, door information and signage and resubmit. (BMC 7-01-50-IFC 901.2).

3. Designer shows a section detail addressing TJL's, with hanger detail addressing TJI's? Provide clarification of construction in this facility and address correct (manufacturers) attaching requirements for the required listed hanger attaching devises. Each shall coordinate with the other and meet both the manufacturer and NFPA 13 Chapter 9. That information shall be included on the plans. (BMC 7-01-50-IFC 901.2).

4. Provide an auxiliary drain as needed to the 2" far main per requirements of NFPA 13-5 14.2.5 and show it on the plan. (BMC 7-01-50-IFC 901.2).
