The remaining overhead sprinkler piping is ok for rough-in and the ceiling tile in the office area can be installed. Two heads in the spiral freezer are too close but per the contractor a wall is to be installed between the two. This will need to be verified at the final or next inspection.

Corrections Required
1. This facility has one address and one alarm system and is considered one building with "occupancy" separations only. This new riser's fire department connection is not associated with the rest of the building, which is required. Provide revised plans addressing connection to one FDC for this facility. Any interconnection shall be piped with a size corresponding to the largest demand in the building, which may require verification through calculations. (BMC 7-01-50-IFC 901.2)

2. Pipe friction loss shall be calculated in accordance with the Hazen-Williams formula with C values from NFPA 13 Table 14.4.4.5. Plan FP-2, Loading Dock has lines calced for dry system, (black pipe, C-factor 100) excluding one line and its riser, nodes #1 thru #6? Mains are not calced for dry system (unless they are galvanized back through the dry pipe node "Dry 4")? Clarify, revise, correct and resubmit. (NFPA 13-14.4.4.5, IFC 105.4.2 and BMC 7-01-50-IFC 901.2)

3. Provide detailed area/s of seismic calculation zone for system piping needing braced (on the plan) addressing and correlating with sway brace seismic calculations. If incorporating only one zone and similar bracing, then that zone must be the worst case within the structure/building. Include correlating earthquake-bracing details with their locations represented on the floor plan incorporating. NOTE: One details show attachments to vertical "something's"? It should be noted that nowhere in NFPA 13-9.3 does it address seismic bracing attachments to "walls." Any attachment to walls will require correct engineering submittals addressed in meeting IBC Section 1621 Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical Component Bracing Requirements and, ASCE 7 Section 9.6. (IFC 105.4.2, 901.2, NFPA 13-9.3.5.2.1, 14.1.3 (39), IBC 1621.

4. Clarify the differences of 1118 W. Emerald St. address point of water supply report with United Water and 11193 W. Emerald St., of the facility address on FP1 plan.

5. Provide piping provisions for flushing on the 2" supply feeding the attached 2 lines on West Dock and Dock Office.

6. Provide clarification on the location where and piping of the 2" main drain will exit the building on the dry system. It appears this valve will be used for the auxiliary drain for the far, wet cross main also.
