To relocate a horn/strobe in the common (503) area due to demolition. A set of doors with door hold-opens to be relocated from east common (503) to east wall of library (504) add a horn/strobe due to spacing on the east of the set of doors, remove two sets of door-hold opens due to the doors being removed and to add a relay to "release" the new gate on the west side of the building. (On any alarm signal, these gates are required to unlock to allow egress).

The building permit BLD05-02957 is to continue a code upgrade on an existing assisted living complex by constructing a two hour fire wall as an area separation wall per the 1997 UBC and two install a new gate and exit hardware in an area of exit discharge per approved plans and letter of agreement for this code upgrade. This will complete the required area separation walls to bring the area of this complex into code compliance. A new letter of agreement is currently being reviewed to finish area "A" this would be the last building required to be upgraded.
