(IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY DENTAL) The sprinkler scope of work is to add new pendant heads to an existing sprinkler system to accommodate new wall and ceiling layout.
The building scope of work is for a new 2,923 sq. ft. expansion to an existing 2,077 sq. ft. space for a new dental office tenant within an existing 16,275 sq. ft. building per approved plans. New total area for the dental office tenant space will be 5,000 sq. ft. The expansion will be a phased project per the plan. Work to include providing two new storefront windows in former exterior door openings, new interior walls and doors, interior finish, new suspended ceiling work, adding a third accessible restroom to the space, fire sprinkler work, mechanical work, plumbing work, and electrical work. A new Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved. Nonseparated Uses per IBC Section 302.3.1. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with IFC 2003, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD5-03341.
