To provide monitoring for two cooking hoods and three duct smoke detectors for HVAC shutdown in the new TI space. The existing required sprinkler monitoring fire alarm system includes HVAC shutdown and cooking hood monitoring. The horn that was originally installed for the shell/core (no occupancy) will be removed under this permit as it is not required by code.

4/29/2006 - Revised scope of work, removed three duct detectors for HVAC shutdown. The system is simply sprinkler monitoring.

The associated building permit (BLD 05-03376) is to construct a new 2,615 sq. ft. restaurant tenant on the first floor in an existing 6,417 sq. ft. two story vacant shell building per approved plans. Shell building was done under BLD03-02329. Work to include new interior walls, some new interior doors and windows, interior finish, new ceiling and soffit work, three new accessible restrooms, new kitchen equipment, a new walk-in cooler, counters/casework, fire sprinkler and alarm work, new mechanical work including new rooftop equipment and two Type I hoods and one Type II hood, new plumbing, and new electrical work. An approved duct wrap system will be installed on the the grease ducts. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved.
