To provide smoke detection, fire/smoke damper control and notification (voice/evac) to new corridors on floors 3, 8 and 9 to an existing required manual fire alarm system that includes sprinkler monitoring, fire pump/tank monitoring, elevator recall/shutdown, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper control, door release, required automatic detection, fire department communication system and voice/evac notification throughout. The stairwells are pressurized utilizing supply fans on the roof with one fan that has a fire damper. At this time, this permit will be issued as a partial only as the building permit includes all floors. A resubmittal will be required for the remainder of the floors for the shell/core corridors.

The associated building permit (BLD05-02939) is to install access floor systems and suspended ceiling systems on the 3rd story (called the 2nd story on the drawings) through the 12th story (called the 11th story on the drawings) within a 12 story high-rise building. A total of 10 stories will be affected. In addition, to constructed 1-hr corridor walls on the 4th story (called the 3rd story on the drawings) through the 12th story (called the 11th story on the drawings). A total of 9 stories will be affected. This permit is intended to be a phased shell permit. See permit BLD04-02348 for the first phase shell permit. This permit is NOT intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. Work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW** (10TH & BANNOCK BUILDING - 10 STORIES) This structure is required to be fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise building.
