The shell/core fire alarm permit FIR05-00695 shall be finaled prior to occupancy for this space. To provide total notification, including voice evacuation, in the new TI space, monitoring of a type one hood, monitoring of duct smoke detectors and four required manual pull stations at the exits. Per Mary the smoke detector is being provided due to the office being used as sleeping quarters, this is also the reason the heat detector has been placed at the exit.

The building permit (BLD 05-03270) is to create a 1,981 square foot restaurant tenant space (746 square foot dining; 680 square foot kitchen; 184 square foot office; 371 square foot restrooms, hallways, and vestibule) on the first story of an 11 story high rise building. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, millwork, a grease hood and duct, a 2-hr shaft, suspended gypsum board ceilings, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department.
